My graduate work at York University focused on identifying organics peroxide formation during monoterpene oxidation experiments. I looked at the ability of an atmospheric pressure chemical ionization mass spectrometer for selectively identifying these compounds using various tandem mass spectrometry analysis modes (i.e., neutral loss mode).

When I’m not in the lab, I like to keep active. I strength train 3 days a week, I snowboard and go snowmobiling every winter, and I love to go for bike rides. I love to travel since it gives me an opportunity to learn about different culture and gain new experiences. In fact, my favorite quote by St. Augustine states “The world is a book and those who do not travel, read only one page.”
